Ankit, a 12-year-old with an infectious smile, joined Disha in 2008 at age 7. He was born with Microcephaly, which affects learning and motor skills. Initially facing behavioral issues, Ankit benefited from Disha’s dual approach of specialized education and counseling. Through consistent academic support and social story counseling, Ankit has made remarkable progress.
Today, Ankit thrives both academically and socially, contributing positively to his class and community. Despite academic challenges, his determination shines as he exceeds expectations. Ankit excels in NIOS level B and showcases his talents in swimming, dancing, and acting. His supportive family, especially his father, has played a vital role in his impressive journey of rehabilitation.
